Fred Inniger

Biography:
Fred Inniger has been a Broadcast Sports icon in Northeast Indiana for many years and has been affiliated with WAWK for much of that time. He first joined WAWK in 1969, remained until 1985, and returned in 2010 when THE HAWK received its FM license for 95.5.

Career & Achievements:
Before his years at WAWK, Fred taught at East Noble School Corp. from 1966 until 2001, first as a Math Teacher, then as a Guidance Counselor. He also coached girls’ and boys’ basketball, baseball, and softball, winning sectional championships in all and securing multiple conference championships.
Fred has been broadcasting sports since 1969 and was inducted into the ISSA (Indiana Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association) Hall of Fame in 2006.

You can hear Fred every Thursday night from 8 PM to 9 PM on The Hawk Sports Talk, as well as broadcasting East Noble Football and Basketball.
